Atty. Arnold Apdua has thirteen (13) years of meaningful experience in tax practice, including seven (7) years as Revenue Officer of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and six (6) years as tax practitioner. He is a senior tax lawyer of Quasha Ancheta Peña and Nolasco Law Office and at the same time, the Managing Partner of AAA and Co., CPAs. He began his professional career as an associate auditor of Sycip Gorres Velayo and Co. (SGV & Co.) in 2004. In May 2004, he entered the BIR as Revenue Officer where he performed tax audit and investigations including regular and special tax investigations. He was also assigned in several BIR Special Task Force such as drafting the BIR Industry Audit Manual and tax compliance audit of government agencies. He received several commendations from the BIR including consistent Top Revenue Collector in BIR Mandaluyong from 2009 to 2011. He has noted expertise in handling transactional taxes and estate tax planning. He took a professorial post at the University of the East and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, where he taught accounting and taxation. He is a resource person and speaker for various Continuing Professional Development (CPD) tax seminars. He currently holds the following positions: Treasurer - PICPA Metro Manila Region (MMR); Committee Co-Chair for Comelec of PICPA National Office; Committee Chair for Comelec of PICPA Metro Manila Region (MMR); Committee Chair for Comelec of PICPA Western Metro Manila Chapter (WMMC); and Committee Chairperson for Regulatory of Association of ACPACI. He also served as PICPA WMMC Committee Chairman for Taxation and Co-Committee Chairman for Membership.
